Dapsone

Carina taking Dapson and I think Cephalixin. Her boils are very hard crusted but it seems as if they are popping. They still itch. I have to say last night Praise God she was able to go out and play softball. It helps her to not think about the itching. She seems to be doing better physically. I praise God for that. She has been off of milk and been doing the gluten free thing. She has not had any headaches not for a few days maybe even a week.

Update for today

Well an update is definitely in need of right now.
Let me first say that I finally got a car! Praise God!! Dave agreed to give me $6k for it. (That was God, I have to believe). So I went and got the Hyundai Sonata 2013.
Also Carina was not doing well at all, but praise God she is doing some better. Doc started her on Dapsone and Cephalaxin. Her boils are still there though. O my I just pray God will help her hair to come back in.
Well I have to tell what happened today. I was just exahausted and I mean exhausted. I had just finished by the grace of God and I mean it was God who helped me to do my paper for English. And then I had to go to school and I still had to do my CIS50 homework. I hadnt gotten alot sleep lately so I have been so tired. I just prayed and asked God to help me. Well He did! And I mean He did! I went to school a little early to print out my Enlgish essay and then I had enought time to do my grader. Phew! I couldnt believe it! I was able to get it done. SO then I went to English class and my essay was not due til next week!! I cant tell you how happy and thankful I was that all my homework was done, now I only have to fix somethings on my essay. God is wonderful!
Yesterday I took my car in to Hyundai because I wanted to get  diagnostic and the only thing I need to have done is the oil pan and 3 recalls, but everything else checked out great and I just praise God for that too.
You know when you have GOd He will bring you through everything and I mean everything! I am so thankful because I mean these trials especially with Carina and also Dave have been so trying to my faith but GOd is faithful!
So here I sit on my couch relaxing, writing in my journal which I like to do. It sure is chilly outside. We got snow up in the mountains which I am so thankful for!

Boils on scalp for about 3 months now. Increasingly got worse in end of oct beg of nov

Boils on her head all over with crusted cover on them. Inflammation underneath. Then they pop and they become open sores. I did try and keep them clean however carina said the alcohol makes them itchy. I put coconut oil on them and they were horrible the next day wont do that again. Dr Sibumani took culture and also wants carina to take enzyme blood work. He sent pics of her head to India to see if they see this in ones that have KIDS Syndrome. Her legions have gone down. I have put her on Goldenseal, Inflammation liquid, Zine, Tharalax (probiotic), magnesium and tumeric and solicea.
I have tried to keep her on a paleo diet, she still has a hard time but doing better. No milk products and also gluten free.
She has not had a bout of headaches  I would say in the past couple of days.

well praise God today carina seems to be doing better.
I fasted and prayed yesterday for her and S Glenda also prayed.

Problems of the head

carina was given Bacterim antibiotic from Derm, she is also taking Tharalac (probiotic). As of today she texted me early this morning said her head was itching and also her boils have not gone down.

Another miserable flare up!

Carina is down with a bout of boils on her scalp. She has now been suffering with this for about 2 months or so and has gotten worse. She is currently on acutane 20 mg. I have been giving her benadryl try and help her sleep because the boils on head hurt badly that it makes sleeping hard. She went to allergist yesterday the doctor told her her condition has nothing to do with food. She was looking at carinas diagnosis from UCD Mind Ins about KIDS Syndrome, so I made an appt to see them. Carina tried colidal silver on head, is taking goldenseal and taralax (probiotics). Tomorrow is derm appt I will be asking for flucanozole as I have been reading in my past blogs she has taken it and it seemed to work. She is close to her period however like I said this bout of boils on her scalp, the itch has been going on now for about 2 months.
Her face is looking better but she has 3 new acne spots. The rest of her body seems to be doing ok.

Up and coming appointments

On Aug 26 she has appointment with allergist. Then she has an appointment to see neurologist.

As of August 2015 problem-scalp

Carina started retaking acutane 20 mg. Her head prior to taking this med has been horrible. Itchy, pimple/boil/dryness all over her head. It is driving her crazy.
Her face was horrible when on humera however since she has started acutane I can see a little clear up.
Her scalp is the main concern right now.
Her body seems to be ok right now. No new boils that I know of.
Will try and take her off of milk products for 2 weeks.
Put in an order to Dr Sibumani for an antifungal shampoo for carinas head.
She still is getting headaches, will put her back on drops, seems to have worked in the past.
She did come back from playing softball in Omaha, however she has had the scalp problems prior to that.
A reminder to me, when Carina one time gave herself a shot of Humira, she felt like she was going to pass out, she kind of went into what seemed like a seizure, then i got her to the couch, very lethargic, call 911. Firemen and EMT's came, her vitals were good. Per Dr Sibumani sometimes this can happen due to the shot not Humera, so he had her lay down next time when giving shots and all went well. Everytime after that she was ok.
Headaches have been consistent pretty much every day. Lasting up to maybe__ mins.
Still having fire like symptoms in her arm.

ENT

Went to ENT on Monday 7/20/15 She has like a kind of hard shell over her ear drum, so ENT peeled it off and also on the one side of her ear inside also. She said it was due to maybe using a QTip and sratching it and maybe Carina wasnt a good healer which she isnt. She said its like a scratch and the its trying to scab over. She gave Carina some ear drops, said it didnt have anything to do with her headaches shes believes and doesnt think anything wrong with electrodes.

2014

As of the year 2014, Carina was on Acutane her face really cleared up however her boils in her vaginal area and still her butt crack area were there. She had her boil tissue removed from underarm and all went well.

As of June 2015.

As of June 2015, Carina saw Dr Sibumani and Tartar. She had been taking Humera every other week. She has not cleared up however has had more boils appear on vagina, right underarm, acne on face and lots on head. Dr Sibumani said for Carina to do Humera every week for 1 month, then after that 1 month if there is no sign of improvement she should go back on Acutane probably 40 mg.
Carinas chest is clear.
Also she stopped using soap per my recommendation because JT stopped and his face started to clear, but Carina went back to using soap and her face has cleared up some. She still complains of headaches. She has was in left ear, epiopic ear wax removal over the counter was recommended by Dr Tartar, will have to go use some.
She still gets headaches especially when working at Daves office.
